Organic Brown Rice
Brown Rice is unpolished "whole grain" milled to remove the hull from the kernel but retain the bran layer and the germ which is rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber.
This type of rice is lower in glycemic index and is an excellent source of manganese, and a good source of selenium, phosphorus, copper, magnesium, and niacin (vitamin B3).
Our rice are grown by small organic farmers who are strongly committed to good health, quality food, ethical fair trade, eco- friendly sustainable farming practices and are catalysts for a positive change in their local communities.
Soak rice at least 1 hour or more with a ratio of 1 cup of rice = 2 cups of water. Add or reduce water according to desired texture. Cook for 30-40 minutes. Serve, enjoy and don't waste!!!
